Magura original MDR-C MDR-P hydraulic brake disc off-road speed drop six nail hydraulic disc brake rotor

The MDR-P two-piece design is very eye-catching. It is different from the common floating discs on the market.

MDR-P adopts a special function technology at the inner and outer disc link: the patented outer ring and inner ring interlocking device-dovetail interconnection technology

If the outer ring expands due to heat, the interlock can provide additional support for the inner ring

Contrary to the floating disc, MDC-R torque is transmitted to the entire surface, not just the rivet, which also increases the rigidity and heat dissipation of the brake disc. It is also more effective under continuous load.

Thanks to this new technology, MDR-P is the most powerful disc in the MAGURA product series. It not only provides the rider with a light weight but also reduces vibration. It is very suitable for MTB gravity use.

The MDR-P disc is also the first time that MAGURA provides a disc with a diameter of 220 mm. Under the same manual power, the disc produces a 10 greater braking force than the 203 mm model and 20 greater than the 180 mm model.
